Message from HOD

Corruption remains one of the most formidable challenges faced by modern society. It poses a significant threat to economic growth, undermines the principles of good governance, distorts public policies, and results in the misuse and wastage of valuable resources. The ripple effects of corruption are far-reaching, as it hampers development and erodes public trust in institutions.
The State Vigilance & Anti-Corruption Bureau (SV&ACB), Himachal Pradesh, is committed to combating this menace by ensuring transparency in governance and holding individuals accountable for corrupt practices. The SV&ACB has been entrusted with the dual responsibility of preventing corruption and investigating cases of criminal misconduct in Himachal Pradesh. However, the fight against corruption cannot be waged by institutions alone. It requires active participation and vigilance from every citizen. The SV&ACB appeals to the public to join hands in this mission by reporting instances of corruption, staying informed, and fostering a zero-tolerance attitude towards unethical behaviour.
Together, let us strive to make Himachal Pradesh a corruption-free state, where transparency, accountability, and integrity prevail in all aspects of governance and public life. It is well known that only through collective efforts can we build a society that ensures justice, fairness, and equitable development for all.
The SV&ACB remains steadfast in its mission and invites the active collaboration of the people in eliminating corruption and shaping a brighter future for our state.
